Remembering The life Of Terrie Lee Durden

Terrie was born September 13, 1969 in Jefferson, Texas.  He was precious in the sight of God and all who laid eyes on him.  Always a happy and active child full of life.  He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church of Karnack, Texas.  As a little boy he enjoyed playing football and he is a legend at the Jefferson High School. He was a part of the 1986 State Championship Team and he attended Wiley College of Marshall, Texas.  He would approach you with a beautiful smile and a joke.  He really loved and cherished every moment he had with his family and friends.

Preceding him in death :

His mother Lartic Durden, brother: Edward Durden, Aunt Luvenia Williams ,and daughter Sharniece Jeter.

Terrie Left to cherish the love of his life Dygliesha Jefferson, father, Floyd Durden of Jefferson, Texas two sons,  Brandon Chalmers of Dallas, Texas, and Tarus Gaderson of Shreveprt, Louisisna. One daughter, Ternenessa Durden of Dallas, Texas. Two Sisters Gloria (Albert) Taylor of Jefferson, Texas and Shaktara Sowells of Dallas, Texas. Two Brothers, Kenneth Durden (Latricia Fagan) of Longview, Texas and Scottie (Nahshea) Durden of Longview, Texas.  His Sister/Cousin Felicia Lewis of Longview, Texas. A special Aunt Bennie Lewis of Jefferson, Texas. His Special Cousin Marquis Mathis, who is appreciated for everytime she was there and helped him. His grandchildren Makayla, Dekhuren,  Brailyn, Karter, Caison, Brooklyn and Brandon L. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Funeral Services for Terry L. Durden, 51, of Jefferson, Texas are scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Texas Louisiana Baptist Association Building in Marshall, Texas 

Public Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021 at Lewis & Walker Funeral Home with a “Last Mile” Horse Drawn Carriage ride through town at 6:30 pm Starting at the Jefferson High School
