A TIME TO BE BORN

Evangelist Susie Mae Jones Journey began July 17. 1936 in Lodi Texas. Marion County. Her beautiful Journey ended on August 14. 2023 after years of traveling lifes smooth and sometimes rocky roads. She was born to the Parentage of the late Wilbon Williams and Clara Williams Buckner.

A TIME TO PLANT

She was united with the church of the Living God in Lodi.

Texas at an early age. under the Pastorage of the late Bishop

N.S. Spurlock. She attended Lewis Chapel Public School. After relocating to Dallas. she united with the Church of the Living at 1710 Bayside, under the Pastorage of Bishop J.C. McCray and currently Elder McKinney. She also attended Acts Missionary Baptist Church under Pastorage of the late Dr. T.J.

Prince. At Bayside Church of the Living God. Jones served as Mother of the Church. Choir President, and Evangelist.

A TIME TO LOVE

She united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Henry B. Jones.

To this union 5 children were born. She lived her life full of love. She loved her family and simply loved people.

A TIME TO DIE

Those who walk uprightly enter into peace. they find rest as they lie in death. The chariot of the Lord came August 14. 2023 to carry Evangelist Susie Jones to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents (Wilbon and Clara Williams) and her Husband (Henry B. Jones).

A TIME TO MOURN

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter. Brenda. Sons:

Henry B. Jr. George. Willie. and Alvin. Grandchildren: Quincy.

Natasha. Lakecia. Sonya. Carmen. Marquisha. Tarsha and Keith:

18 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mrs. Susie Williams Jones, 87, of Dallas, Texas will be 1:00pm Thursday , August 31, 2023 at Lewis & Walker Funeral Home in Jefferson, Texas.

Susie was born July 17, 1936 and transitioned August 14, 2023 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Jones was 87 years old.
