Shelwyn Wynette Gardner

Shelwyn Wynette Gardner, affectionately known as

"Pebbles," was born on January 22, 1976, in Jefferson, Texas. She was the beloved firstborn of two children to Pearl Gardner. Shelwyn received her education in the Linden-Kildare and Longview School Districts, where she began shaping the strength and kindness that would define her life.

Early in life, Shelwyn professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at Corinth Baptist Church,

grounding her life in the love and grace of God.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, whose memories she held dear.

On January 1, 2026, Shelwyn peacefully answered the Lord's call at her home in Longview, Texas.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit remains etched in the hearts of all who loved her.

Shelwyn's legacy lives on through her devoted son, Dominique (Quisha) Gardner of Ennis, Texas; her cherished granddaughter, Serenity Gardner; her loving parents, Pearl and Freddie Webb of Jefferson, Texas; her brother, Donquil (De'Ana) Gardner of Longview, Texas; three nieces, Sequoyah, Yasmine, and Kylee; one nephew, DonTavion Gardner; and a great-nephew, Amari.

She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many dear friends who will continue to carry her memory forward.

Funeral arrangements for Shelwyn Waynette Gardner, 49, of Longview, Texas are 11:00am Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Corinth Baptist Church under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. 
Shelwyn was born January 22, 1976 in Linden Texas and transitioned January 2, 2026 in Longview, Texas.

Shelwyn was 48 years old.
