Services for Rodney McAlister, 62, of Jefferson, Texas will be 11:00am Saturday, December 30,2023 at The Kellyville Community Center with burial to follow at Whitaker Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas.

Rodney was born August 6, 1961 and transitioned December 11, 2023 in Longview, Texas. Rodney was 62 years old.

Rodney was proceeded in death by both of his parents, Ennis and Clara McAlister; one brother: Danny K. McAlister and two sisters: Dianne Hatch, and Karen Harper.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his life companion, Kathleen Johnson, brothers: Ennis C. McAlister, Jr., Paul L. McAlister, and Fred McAlister, and one sister Maymie L. Anderson and several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
