Services for Mrs. Rita Perkins Spencer, 54, of Jefferson, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of  Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rita Bernard was born June 2, 1966 in Mullins River Village, Belize Central America.  She departed her earthly life August 9, 2020.

Rita is preceded in death by her mother, Nelda Flowers; father, Gilbert Bernard; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Hurbert Bernard and Mr. & Mrs. Charles Flowers; sister, Diana Bernard and brother, David Murillo.

She is survived by her husband, James, Spencer; children, Freddie Perkins III, Nita Irving, James Spencer, Jr., Thomas Spencer; sister, Jean Borland-Jackson of Jefferson, Texas; brothers, Glenn Murillo, Troye Bernard; sister, Cynthia Bernard of Belize, Central America.
