Raybon Rayshaan “Shaan” Kelly, 23, of Jefferson, transitioned from earth to glory on October 25, 2020. He was born January 6, 1997 in Marshall, Texas, to the parentage of George Raybon Kelly and Laura Johnson. He attended Jefferson schools and graduated from Jefferson High School June 2015, where he was a member of the “Bulldog” football team. Shaan pursued his passion and received his degree in Culinary Arts from Kilgore College. He was employed as chef with the Franchise in Jefferson, Texas and Copeland’s of Longview, Texas.
Shaan accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior as a preteen and, at that time, united with the Ebenezer Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where he remained a member until his demise. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Worth and paternal grandmother, Mattie Kelly.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his parents Laura Johnson (Archie Halton) and George Raybon Kelly (Sharhonda); his brothers, MyKel Worth and Jaren Kelly; and his sisters, Danesha Butler (Brent Ellis), Phylicia Rawls and LeKeychia Hernandez. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Kathy Worth, godparents, Max and Carolyn Ender; aunts, Onedia Parker (Leon Parker, Sr.), and Faye Murphy; uncles, R D Kelly (Dana Bussey), Elmer Kelly, Anthony Worth (Tonisha), Kelvin Worth, Sr. (Jan), Gregory Worth, Sr. (Sharde Johnson) and Jeffery Worth; nieces, Ja’Niya Coats, Ja’Leyah Coats and Brea Ellis. Shaan also survived by a host of other relatives, family, and friends.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 07, 2020 at the Jefferson Community Center at 1:00pm with Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.
