Private Graveside Service (IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY) for Ms. Queen Ella Zachery, 85, of Lodi, Texas will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00AM at Whitaker Memorial Cemetery in Lodi, Texas under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Queen Elle Zachery was born June 5, 1935 to the parentage of Herman and Rosie Bell Cole Zachery. Queen received her education in Lodi, Linden, and Houston Texas. At an early age she united with the Church of the Living God in Lodi, Texas, where she remained a faithful member until her health began to fail.
Queen worked at the Box Factory in Atlanta, Texas, and various other jobs. She was later employed at Magnolia Manner Nursing Home in Jefferson, Texas.
Sis. Queen peacefully departed this life on October 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Herman and Rosie Bell Zachery; one son, Mike Carl Zachery; two sisters, Flora Bell Small and Katie Earl Jackson; and brother Herman Zachery Jr.

In God’s care she leaves her children to cherish her memory: Milton Zachery of Lodi, Texas, Eva Zachery Marshall of Dallas, TX, Donnie Wilson of Ft. Worth, TX, Gloria Zachery of Lodi, Texas, Armor Taylor of Searcy, Arkansas, Sherry Williams (Everett) of Jefferson, Texas, John Zachery Sr. (Merab) of Little Elm, Texas, and Zane Zachery Sr. of Lodi, Texas, One God Daughter, Margaret Stephenson, Hot Spring Arkansas, 28 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren. One brother-in-law; Alonzo Jackson of Palestine, Texas, oldest niece Katevious Love, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. Special friends Billy Burns and E.W. Edmond.
