Services for Mr. Clarence "Snake" Bonner, 89, of Jefferson, Texas will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Cedar grove Cemetery under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

*A Time to be Born*
Clarence was born August 20, 1930 to Ida Mae and Otis Bonner, Sr
*A Time to Plant*
He confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Mt Ira Baptist church where he served as deacon
*A Time to Love*
He united in holy matrimony to Mildred Marie Sims on June 27, 1959 and they were together for 61 years
*A Time to Kill*
He was an avid hunter of deer, squirrels and rabbits for many years
*A Time to Reap*
He worked for TJ Blackburn Syrup Works for a number of years. He also worked for Southwestern Electric Power Company, where he retired in 1994
*A Time to Weep*
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Otis, Charles, Fred, and Willie James; his sisters Velma and Norma Jean
*A Time of Peace*
He loved spending time outside gardening, building and working with is hands
*A Time to Die*
He departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020
*A Time to Mourn*
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories:
his wife: Mildred
his sons: Larry (Traska), Robert, Ronnie (Katherine), David (Sharon), Terry (LaQuisha), all of Fort Worth, TX
his daughters, Gladys (Dave) of Las Vegas, NV; Della of Dallas, TX; Tina of Arlington, TX
eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be at the Lewis & Walker Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on Friday March 27, 2020.
