Michael Wayne Oliver was born on March 14, 1959 to James and Cora Oliver, in Dallas Tx. He attended Longview and Dallas public schools before joining the
Army. His parents James and Cora precede him in death. His brother James, sister Annette, sister in love, Nedra and
niece Nacoya, also precede him in death. The loved ones he leave to cherish his memories are bothers, Osmond and Anthony, sisters Kathy (Larry),
Saretha and Betty (Dennis). 18 nieces and nephews;
Jenyce ( Gerald), Antraniqua, Kiesha (Ricky), Robert. Lakeye, Robin ( Chris), Ernisha ( Walter), Jamie (Jeremy), OJ ( Janetria), Ervin, Candisa (Damian), DC, Diamond, ZaKyriah, Travoris, Adrianne, Ashia and Devin. 46 great nieces and nephews, 24 great-great nieces and nieces. 2 aunts, 2 uncles and a host of family and friends.

Services for Michael Wayne Oliver, 67, of Jefferson, Texas, will be 1:00pm Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Jefferson Community Center and burial will follow at Judea Cemetery. 
Michael was affectionately known as Mike Quick to everyone who knew him. 
Michael was born March 13, 1959 and transitioned June 13, 2026 surrounded by beloved family and friends. 
Mike Quick was 67 years old.
