Michael Renard Norris

Michael Renard Norris, also affectionately known as “Snoop”, was born July 19, 1972 in

Houston Texas. He attended Jefferson High School in Jefferson Texas.

In 2011, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Sherbrell Connor and their union was blessed

with 14 years.

Michael loved to cook, particularly barbecue, and spend time with family and friends.

To cherish his memory he is survived by both parents Philip and Marva Norris, his loving wife Sherbrell; children: Tiara Norris-

Mathis (Michael) of Killeen,TX; Topaz Norris of Killeen, TX; Daizon Norris of Jefferson, TX;

Tynia Norris of Jackson, MS; Michael Norris of McKinney, TX; Jamykel and Ja’Quavis Norris

of Tyler,TX; grandchildren: Kingston Norris, Kelahilani Norris-Allen, Nehemiah Norris,

Dakota Norris, Mekhi Norris-Allen, Messiah Norris-Allen. Brother: Philip (Jennifer) Norris Jr.

of Humble, TX: Sister: Chandra Norris Wilkerson of Jefferson, TX: Aunts: Maggie (Sam)

Clark Uncles: Homer (Verna) Norris, Justin (Joanna) Norris, Ricky (Helease) Mathis, Greg

(Alpha) Mathis and a host of family and friends that loved him.

Services for Michael Renard Norris,53, of Tyler, Texas, will be held 11:00am Saturday May 9, 2026 at the Jefferson Junior High School and burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas.

Michael was born July 19, 1972, in Houston, Texas, and transitioned April 25, 2026, at Christus Mother Francis in Tyler, Texas surrounded by beloved family and friends.

Michael was affectionately known as "Snoop" by all who knew him and he was 53 years old.

He will be missed.
