Larry Allen Obituary

Larry Lee Allen was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1948, to the late Vance and

Mildred Allen.

He passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was the youngest of six siblings and

a beloved father and doting grandfather.

Larry dedicated his life to serving others, both in his career as a former Sheriff’s

Deputy and through his volunteer work at the local food pantry. He faced life’s

challenges with resilience, even surviving a major chemical explosion, a testament to

his strength and perseverance.

Beyond his service and bravery, Larry was a culinary genius. His legendary

tender ribs, brisket, smoked pig feet, and flavorful pot of greens became the

foundation of Circle L Barbecue, a beloved establishment that brought people

together through food and fellowship.

Above all, Larry emphasized the importance of faith and family. He believed

that nothing in life mattered more than our relationship with God and our loved ones.

He dedicated his life to the Lord, and as a testament to his faith served his church

throughout his years in various capacities.

TX), Aundrell Allen and wife, Marquetta Allen (Plano, TX), Aundrea Allen and wife

Kayden Allen. His memory will also continue to be honored by his last living sibling

Betty Body (Oklahoma, OK). His great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of

other relatives and friends will cherish his memory. His legacy of love, service, and

faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply

missed but forever remembered.
