Latoya (Toni) Charise Sharnell Ross (Miller) May 30, 1972 departed this earth unexpectedly on November 3rd, 2022.
Latoya, a native of Chicago Il, attended Metro H.S.  before eventually earning her  A.A.S with honors in Culinary Arts from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in 2013.
Latoya, affectionately known as Toni to friends and family alike, was an up and coming baker and proprietor of MommyLady Confections which allowed her to explore and expand on her passion for pastry work and baking. In 2021 Latoya married her soulmate, Craig Ross in an intimate ceremony attended by her closest family and her children. At the time of her passing she was employed as the Kitchen Manager for Daingerfield/LoneStar School district.
Toni was a proud long time member of World Won for Christ Ministries, most notably on the choir and praise teams under the honorable Bishop Cooper before relocating to Jefferson and finding a new home at Shiloh MBC under the honorable Pastor Alvin Brown, where she was also able to share the gift of her beautiful voice as part of the choir and praise team.

Latoya was the only child born to Minnie Jones (Miller) and Verlon Smith who preceded her in death in 2019 and she was also preceded in death by her stepfather Willlis L. Jones in 2003.
Latoya leaves behind her loving husband Craig Ross, Beloved children Diamonique Lewis, and Jamal Lewis whom she shared from a previous marriage to Vincent Lewis, cherished bonus daughter Daphina Hall from a previous partnership, adored Bonus Children Craig Ross, Jr., Kenya, Kj, and Korayona Ross 
Beloved Mother Minnie Jones (Willis) and sister Jerine ' Baby Jey" Stambaugh (Michael) adored nephews Kieran and Donovan Stambaugh, and a whole host of cherished relatives and friends.
 

Funeral Services for Mrs. LaToya Ross, 50, of Jefferson, Texas will be at 2:00pm Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Jefferson Junior High School Auditorium. 

Public visitation will be 11:00am until 5:00pm Friday at Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Latoya was born May 30, 1972 and transitioned November 03, 2022.
