Kathy Von (Amerson) Stewart

Kathy Von Amerson Stewart , 70, passed on July 29, 2024 in Texarkana, Texas. 

She was born on November 7, 1953 in Mt. Pleasent, Texas to Lloyd and Vonnie Amerson. 

She lived all around East Texas and spent a few years in Colorado.  She graduated in 1972 from Henderson High School. She married Elton Stewart on May 251973 in Laneville.  

She worked as a LVN then enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of boys.  Kathy was very loving and loved her boys and family. She always had the ability to make anyone smile. She is survived by a younger brother, Daniel and Mary Amerson, little sister, Teresa Gallagher, her boys, Prints and Lovella Stewart, Elton Stewart, Jason and Ashley Stewart, David Stewart, and many nieces , nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. 

Services for Kathy Von Stewart, 70, of Jefferson, Texas, are pending with Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Kathy was born November 7, 1953 and transitioned July 29,2024 in Texarkana, Texas surrounded by beloved family. 
Ms. Stewart was 70 years old.
