Joyce Ann Carr

Joyce was born August 2, 1963 to Erma M. Carr and Benjamin Carr in Marion County, Texas. 

At an early age she united with Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral of Chris Holt. 

Joyce went to sleep in Gods arms on August 16, 2023. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters Nikita and Kashundolyn Carr, both of Dallas, TX. 2 sons Lamarcus Carr (Shontavia) of Dallas, TX, Brandon Carr (Mary) of Jefferson, TX. 2 sisters Miss Brinder Carr of Avinger, TX and Miss Bennie Carr of Dallas, TX. 5 grandchildren Shunkedria Smith, Destiny Carr, Jamya Smith and Kaitlynn Durden all of Jefferson, TX and Devorian Smith (Tempestt) of Sanger, TX. 6 great-grandchildren Kase and Kaylee Johnson of Jefferson, TX. Deviniti, Legend, Harmoni and Cadence Smith all of Sanger, TX and a host of relatives and other loved ones. 

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Mr. Charlie Carr, Mr. Bobby Joe Carr and Mr. Emmit Earl Carr, 2 sisters Mrs. Redia Diane Henderson and Ms. Lena V. Carr. 

Services for Joyce Ann Carr, 60, of Avinger, Texas are pending with Lewis & Walker Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas.

Joyce was born August 2, 1963 and transitioned August 16, 2023 surrounded by beloved family.

Joyce was 60 years old.
