Johnny B. Gray was born to the parents of Janie Williams and Johnny Gray on January 11, 1931. He united with Pine Grove Baptist Church in Jefferson, Tx at an early age. Johnny worked in the logging industry until he retired.
Johnny was proceeded in death by his mother Janie Williams and his father Johnny Gray, two sisters: Anna Jackson and Izora Irving, two brothers: Charles Williams and Wesley Williams, two step daughters: Catherine Rawls and Maxine Williams, two step sons: Kenneth Rawls and Michael Rawls.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Bobby Gray, dean, and Johnny Jr., two step sons: Avery Rawls and Eric Rawls, four step daughters: Lillie Mae, Beverly Jean, Ivy Boyd, and Machelle Rawls, six nieces: Dorothy Johnson, Janette Jackson, Gloria Jefferson, Brenda Jackson, Sandra Jackson, and Machelle Rushing, five nephews: Morris Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, Charlie Irving, Edward Irving and Joe Irving, eight great nephews: Fred, Cecil, Tony, Reginald, Alton, Craig, Chris and Javonte’, four great nieces: Shemetria, Monique, Stephanie and LaDeldra, one uncle: James (Linda) Epperson, two aunts: Carolyn (Mitchell) James and Sarah Williams.
Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Gray, 89, of Jefferson, Texas, will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Mt. Ira Baptist Church in Jefferson, Tx. under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home. A public visitation will be from 11:00am Friday February 18, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Gray was born January 11, 1933 and transitioned February 12, 2022.
Mr. Gray was 89 years old.
