Graveside Services for Mr. Johnnie "Slack" Smith, 66, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 06, 2021 at Gethsemane-Core Cemetery under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born February 08, 1955 and passed away on October 31, 2021.He was preceded in death by his siblings, Earnest Smith, Jr., Ocie L. Smith, Dorothy Harrell, Earnest C. Smith, Doris Ann Hall, Ray Charles Smith, Lewis Ray Smith, Elvis Smith, Darrell W. Smith, Gloria Jean Smith, and Irene Grismore.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Keisha Hill (Byron) and Se’Lena Washington; step-children, Tommy Hodge, Jr. (Denise), O.V. Hodge (Ashley), Willie Hodge (Shirley); 12 grandchildren, Treyvon Justice, Mylekiah Justice, Melissa Jones (Lou); siblings, Dolly Mae Gillins, John Eric Eric Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
