Isaac Carr, Jr.

Isaac Carr, Jr., 85, of Jefferson, Texas was born to the parentage of Isaac Carr, Sr and Lovie D. Carr on April 29, 1939, in Marshall, Texas. 

Isaac was a God-fearing man and a hard worker. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Isaac was preceded in death by both parents and five children he helped raise as his own, Margrett Ann, Isaac Coverson, Robbie Sam, Willie Maurice Coverson, and James Edward Benton. 

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Lovie Johnson, and one bonus daughter he considered his own, Bobbie Denise Young. Isaac will also be remembered by his seventeen and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.  

Services for Isaac Carr, Jr., 85, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, August 31, 2024, with the family meeting at Lewis & Walker Funeral Home for a processional to the Macedonia Cemetery for a Graveside service.

Isaac was born April 29, 1939, and transitioned August 26, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

Mr. Carr was 85 years old.
