Felecia Rena Melton

It is with great sadness that the Melton family announces the passing of Felecia Rena Melton, 60, of Beasley, Fort Bend County, Texas, on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
She was born in Wharton, Wharton County, Texas, to Koecadee, Sr., and Frances Reynolds Melton.  Felecia graduated from Jefferson High School in 1979, and attended nursing school at San Antonio Baptist University, graduating in 1983. She spent many years in nursing working as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse, a Critical Care Unit (CCU) nurse, a charge nurse, and a director of nursing. She loved caring for her patients and that care was especially demonstrated by her love for those close to her. She enjoyed fishing, movies, music, spending time with her nieces and nephews, an occasional glass of the fruit of the vine, and stirring up a good meal for her aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Kirk Melton. Felecia leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Koecadee Melton, Jr., of Kendleton, Texas, and Christopher Melton (Tobi), of Murrieta, California, and a sister, Cathy Shea Harrington (Ricky), of Jefferson, Texas.

Memorial Services for Felecia Rena Melton, 60, of Beasley, Texas will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 03, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1620 Shady Grove Rd. Jefferson, Texas 75657.
