Eunice Smith-Phillips was born to Doris and Eunice Smith on March 29, 1946 in Linden, Texas, where she graduated from Fairview High School in 1964. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church until her health failed.
She entered into her eternal rest on September 7, 2020 at Wadley regional Medical Center. She was united in marriage to Marcus Phillips who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; two sisters; five bothers; and one grandson. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cynthia (Terry) Noble of Texarkana, Texas, Amy (Addam) Powell of Linden, Texas; two sons, Keith Luster of Linden, Texas and Dana (Shannon) Mack of Longview; nephew/son, Michael Brown of Masfield, Texas; step-daughter, Ada Cooper of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Shirley Heath; two sisters-in-law, Ruby Smith of Childress, Texas, Yolunda Smith of Colorado; seven grandkids, Marcus, Kameron, Jasmine, Tyrin, Kashawna, Ja'Maiya, and Alliyah; two great-grandkids, JaChristian and Zick; godson, Loyd Stephens; goddaughter, LaKisha Linwood; special son, Richard Range; special daughters, Emma and Regina; the special people who kept her going, Bull, Thomas, Robert, Deb and Juicy; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. September 12, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Linden.
