Mr. Emmitt Earl Car gained his wings of January 10, 2023. At and early age he united with Mt. Plesant Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral Leadership of Pastor Chris Holt.
Emmitt was proceeded in death by his father Mr. Charlie Carr, his mother Erma Mae Carr, and his wife Mary Ingram. He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Joseph Ingram and Timothy Brown, his daughters, Kimberly Lee of Fort Worth, Tx, Michele McTiller of Dallas, Tx, Larissa Freeman of Fort Worth, Angela Brown of Longview, Tx, and his three sisters Brinder K. Carr of Avinger, Tx, Joyce Carr of Jefferson, Tx, and Bennie J. Carr of Dallas, Tx., along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Services for Emmitt Earl Carr, 63, of Jefferson, Texas will be 11:00am Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson, Tx., under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas.
Public visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 from 11:00am to 5:00pm at the Funeral Home.
Emmit was born August 8, 1959 and transitioned January 10, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
Emmit was 63 years old.
