Ella M William

Sister Ella Mae William Evans was Born December 17, 1933, to the late John William and Jessie Bell Thomas. 

Ella, born and raised in Marion County, homestead Smithland, Texas, she worked in Linden, Texas, Jefferson, Texas, and Vivian, Louisiana sewing, cooking, cleaning, and she waswell known as Mama to everyone. She was a free spirited, trustworthy, giving, and loving soul.

In addition, she enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends. She loved to fish work in the garden, sew, and going to the casino. Sister Ella would help the community cpnsulting with personal business, education, medicines, and teaching life skills. 

Ella is proceeded in death by her mother, Jessie Bell Thomas and her father, John Williams. 

Two brothers: Henry Mathis and Bobbie Joe Williams. 

Four sisters: Fannie Smiley, Lillie, Maudlin, and Juanita Bryant 

Three sons: Howie Nick Evans, Garvey Goynes, Jr., and Dewayne Coverson 

Left to cherish her memories are: 

Five Sons: Billy (Quita) Williams, Earl Evans, Curtis Evans (Michelle) Evans, Jr., Arthur Evans, and Steven Mathis 

Two daughters: Patsy (Erikk) Echols and Sandrea Burnon 

Twenty Grand Children: Byron, Mercedes, Alexis, Keenly, Tamaran, Curtis, Meosha, Nikk, Bre, Ashley, Pierro, Cordierro, Shynierro, Eraka, Tameika, Tenecia, Earl, Jr., Angel, Wayne Wayne, and Shacorey. 

Thirty-four great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. 

Three sisters: Bonnie Jackson, Johnnie Mae Biddle, and Jean Jackson. 

One Brother: Arthur Ray Williams 

Three brothers in Laws: Clem Evans, Timothy Biddle, and Johnny Jackson 

Two sisters in laws: Carolyn Faye Evans, and Julius Wardell. 

A special nephew, General Duke and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and family and friends. 

Services for Mrs. Ella M. William, 88, of Jefferson, Texas will be 11:00am Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Belview Baptist Church in Smithland, Texas and burial will follow at Judea Cemetery.  
Mrs. Ella was born December 17, 1933, and transitioned December 2, 2022, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Dallas, Texas. 
Mrs. Ella was 88 years old.
