Edward Lee Vinson, Sr.

Mr. Edward Lee Vinson, Sr. was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Freddie Sr. and Jear Lee Stallworth. He attended public school in Rodessa and Belcher. He worked as a Technician for Amoco Oil for over 30 years and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He married Rosie Earl Rice and enjoyed a fruitful 54 year marriage before his passing.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters; Rosie Lee Neta and Bertha Louise Robinson, brother Freddie Vinson Jr. and Great-Granddaughter, Alanna.

He leaves to cherish him his wife, two sons; Edward Jr. and Bradley, five sisters; Shelia Payne, Margaret Fields, Patricia Williams, Darlene Armstrong, Aundrea, Fredricka, Charity and Angel Greene, three brothers; Elvin Sr., Jason and Alex, grands; Catrina, Amber, Kelley, Aaliyah, Nicolas, Andria and Jashiva, great-grands: Ava, Harper, Bryce, *Alanna*, TJ, Jayceon and Mateo, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services for Mr. Edward Lee Vinson, Sr. 73, of Jefferson, Texas will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, 11am at Vivian Cemetery in Vivian Louisiana.

Mr. Vinson was born May 28, 1949 and transitioned December 29, 2022, in Jefferson, TX at home surrounded by his loving family.

The family of Edward Vinson, Sr. acknowledges with sincere and deep appreciation the many comforting expressions of sympathy during their time of need. Your messages, flowers, cards, phone calls, attendance and most of all your prayers are appreciated.

Mr. Vinson was 73 years old.
