Carla Irving was born to the late Albert & Elizabeth Taylor on January 8, 1963 in Jefferson, Texas. She attended school in Jefferson, Texas where she later met and married her husband the late Clarence Irving,
Carla accepted Christ at an early age at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher for many years. Carla was known for her heart of being a caregiver for a lot of her family and friends.
Carla is proceeded in death by her husband Clarence Irving, her mother & father Albert & Elizabeth Taylor, her grandparents Jim & Susie Durham and Alf & Annie Taylor, and her sister Eva Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her daughter LaNika (Eric) Beaver of Vivian, La., 2 grandchildren that she adored JaNoah & Layla, 5 sisters Wanda (Harvey) Hodge, Robin (Bobby) Greenhoward, McCarol Irving, Sandra Cole, Nona Byrd, 5 brothers Louis (Mary) Taylor, Kalvin (Maxine) Taylor, Albert Jr. (Gloria) Taylor, Charles Taylor, Mark (Jackie) Rayson. 1 uncle Jimmy (Elma) Durham, 4 aunts, Alice Touchstone, Elma (Lafayette) Guinn, Pearl Montgomery, and Althea (Felton) McDowell. Some very special friends in her life Welton Green, Darlene Taylor, Prencess Spelling, Melinda Wright, Darlene Valentine, Rose Rayson, Ricky Figures & Chris McCurry. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.
Services for Carla Irving, 60, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Jefferson Junior High School Auditorium and burial will follow at Coverson Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas.
Carla was born January 08, 1963 and transitioned March 01, 2023 at Christus Good Shepherd in Longview, Texas surrounded by beloved family and friends.
Carla was 60 years old.
