Mr. Bunny R. Williams was born to the parentage of Johnny Gill Williams and Lee Willow (Patty) Zachery Willliams in Lodi, Texas. He attended Smithland Elementary and Junior High School in Smithland, Texas and graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Texas. He united with Watts Chapel CME at an early age.
He departed from this life on April 19, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and siblings; Frank Earl Sims and Henry Lee Sims, Sr.; a special niece, Courtney M. Jordan; and nephews, Flem Darnell Locket, Ray Charles Hines; niece, Lizzie M. Sims.
He was employed at Hogan Scrobrough Cabinetry as a foreman and later went into lumberjacking until he became disabled.
He enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed taking his vehicles apart and putting them back together even when nothing was wrong with them. He enjoyed dancing and he was a sharp dresser. He enjoyed playing pool, agriculture, farming, and was a dynamic baseball player.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons; Fred Williams (Janet) and Desmond Williams (Colita) of Jefferson, Texas; and one daughter, Talosha Williams- Smith of Linden, Texas; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Faye Hardgraves of Fort Worth, Texas, Johnnie Faye Dukes of Fort Worth, Texas, Mary Lockett (Flem) of Lodi, Texas and Norma Jordan of Lodi, Texas; two brothers; Melvin Williams of Lodi, Texas and Carl Williams (Sandra) of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Bunny Raye Williams, 68, of Lodi, Texas, are scheduled for 12:00am Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Jefferson Junior High School Auditorium in Jefferson, Texas.
Bunny was born May 12, 1953 and transitioned April 19, 2022.
Mr. Williams was 68 years old.
