Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbie L. Allen, 89, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Shady Grove Church of Christ in Jefferson, Texas under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bobbie Louise (Smith) Allen departed this life on Tuesday, March 7,2023 at the age of eight-nine (89). Her loving husband, Vernon Sr., her eldest daughter, Gwendolyn, her parents, Willie “Bill” and Thelma Smith, and her oldest sister, Doris Nelson, preceded her in death. 

She leaves to cherish her memories and love, one son Vernon C. Allen “JR” (Anne) of Grand Prairie, Texas; two daughters, Verinda K. Allen “Miki” of Jefferson, Texas and Felecia Y. Allen-Castle “Lisa” of Arlington, Texas. Six grandchildren: Tiffany Allen of Jefferson, Texas; Kristopher Richardson of Seattle, Washington; Jena Allen-Watts (Terrance) of Arlington, Texas; Krystal McGee of Rowlett, Texas; Mario Allen (Mira) of Portland, North Dakota; and Dr. Dominque Robinson of Cape Coral, Florida. Twelve great grandchildren: Aniah Allen of Greenville, Texas; Mikiah Allen and Teja Taylor of Prairie View, Texas; Terrance Jr. and Julia Watts of Arlington, Texas; Elijah, Jeremiah, and Noah Jones of Rowlett, Texas; Mika, Marco, and Mattie Allen of Portland, North Dakota; and DeShaud Woods of Cape Coral, Florida. One great-great granddaughter:  Nova Love of Greenville, Texas. 

Bobbie also leaves to cherish her memories and love, one sister- Willie Ruth Louis of Mesa, Arizona and one brother- Rev. Samuel W. Smith (Betty) of Lindale, Texas. Her special cousin, Clarence Williams of Jefferson, Texas. Her devoted friend, Melba Stevenson of Jefferson, Texas.A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, all of which she loved very much.
