Billy Fate Houston

Billy Fate Houston was born January 4, 1936, and passed away March 2, 2024, at the age of 88. 

Billy is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Dewey Houston and his mother Ila (Totsy) Cagle, his wife: Joann Ortegon Houston, brothers: Samuel Dewey Houston, Jr., and Phoenix Lamar Houston, sisters: Totsy Virginia Garriot, Hedi Pauline Brewer, and Zola Patricia Godfrey, nephew: Gary King, niece: Paula Annette Gardner, son-in-law: Nick Charles Parker, and great grandson: Jacob Rice.    

Survivors include daughter, Denise Taye Parker, of Avinger, Tx, (Lake O The Pines), 3 sons: Johnnie Lynn Houston and Wife Sandra, Jay Houston of Bath, NC, and William Keith Houston of Colorado Springs, CO. 

Grandson’s: Johnnie Lynn Houston, Jr., and wife Juanita of Chocowinity, NC, and Joseph Lee Houston and wife Maria of Point of Rocks, MD, Granddaughter: Mindy Jo Houston and her husband Brendan Rice of Chocowinity, NC, and Kristen Nichole Parker of Karnack, TX, Victoria Houston of Colorado Springs, CO, Erica Houston of Colorado Springs, CO. 

Great Grandchildren: Matie Alicia Coyle of West Monroe, LA, Joshua, Tanner, Evan and Noah Rice of Chocowinity, NC, Chase, Abigail, Johnnie III, James, and CJ Houston of Chocowinity, NC, Leah Grace Houston of Point of Rocks, MD.  

2 Sisters: Mary Charlotte Hardin of Fayetteville, AR, and Judy Lorrane Houston of Grove, OK. 

1 Brother: Herschal Elmer Houston and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
