Addie Mae Ervin

Addie Ervin was born to Marie Coverson and Hezekiah Ellis on August 13, 1955 in Jefferson, Texas. Both parents preceded her in death. She graduated High school in Jefferson, Texas. She married Alvin Barkley Johnson, and to this union four children were born, Addina Levon Johnson, Angela Yuvet Sparks, Alvin Barkley Johnson, and Alvincent Jerome Johnson.  

She moved away to peruse careers in California. Addie worked as a flight attendant and traveled all over the world. She has been to Paris and Germany, just to name a few places she's traveled and made countless lasting memories. 

Addie did some modeling in her younger days while living in California and she was jazz singer at several night clubs there. She later moved back to Jefferson , Texas and she married Michael “Red”Ervin (deceased).  

She joined Mt. Ira Baptist Church, in Jefferson, Texas, where she was a dedicated member. 

She loved spending time with her Children, 17 Grand Children, and 23 great grand children all of whom will cherish her memories. 

Memorial Services for Addie Mae Ervin, 68, of Jefferson, Texas will be 11:00am Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Jefferson Community Center in Jefferson, Texas under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas. 

Addie was born August 13, 1955 and transitioned December 5, 2023 in Jefferson, Texas.

Addie was 68 years old.
