John Hamilton Carr

Funeral services for Mr. John Hamilton Carr will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Lewis & Walker Chapel under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.

Mr. John H. Warren Carr was born on September 30, 1973 in Marion County Hospital in Jefferson, Texas to Mr. John H. Warren and the late Mrs. Redia Carr Henderson. He attended Jefferson High School in Jefferson. At an early age he joined Mt. Pleassant Missionary Baptist, then he later moved to Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Carr was preceded in his death by his mother, Mrs. Redia D. Carr Henderson; one brother, Gabriel Peppers. John departed from this life on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Mr. John H. Warren of Campwood, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Shontaria A. Bell James (Jamad) of Shiloh, TX, and Miss Makayla S. D. Carr of Dallas, TX; one son, Mr. John Carr, Jr. of Palestine, TX; two step sons, Zylan Bailey and Antonio Zellars of Dallas, TX; one grandson, Ayden R. James; one granddaughter, Miss Iviana M. James; two brothers, Mr. Michael E. Carr of Jefferson, TX, and Mr. Anthony (Lenora) Carr of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Jaquoya (Sky) Warren of Waskom, TX, and Jakela (Starr)  Warren of Dallas, TX; three nieces; four nephews; special friend, Yolanda Bailey of Dallas, TX; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
